Position Summary

TempleArts seeks a creative, data-driven, and strategic Marketing Manager to lead all marketing and communications efforts across both the Temple Theatre and Saginaw Art Museum. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, this position shapes the organization’s public voice, drives audience growth, and advances TempleArts’ reputation as a leading cultural destination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute annual marketing strategies for both venues.
  • Manage campaigns across digital, print, broadcast, and outdoor media.
  • Oversee branding, design, and content creation across platforms.
  • Interface with TempleArts stakeholders regarding event / show promotion for all in-house productions, co-produced shows, and affiliate organizations.
  • Partner with Ticket Office to track performance and optimize campaigns.
  • Develop and execute a group sales strategy for both SAM and the Temple promoting opportunities for organizations and groups to engage with each venue.
  • Manage marketing budgets and vendor relationships.
  • Analyze marketing data, produce reports, and adjust strategy accordingly.
  • Collaborate with Associate Directors for the Temple Theatre and Saginaw Art Museum.
  • Support events, openings, and performances (some evenings/weekends required).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in marketing, preferably in arts or entertainment.
  • Strong digital marketing, branding, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience managing multi-channel campaigns and budgets.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of analytics tools, CMS, CRM, and social media platforms.
  • Creative, collaborative, and detail-oriented mindset.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $48,000 – $62,000, commensurate with experience. TempleArts offers a competitive benefits package, including medical and dental insurance, and paid time off.
