Part-Time Development Director for Nonprofit Organization

A metro Detroit-based nonprofit organization is seeking a Development Director to do fundraising. The organization provides education and programming on topics related to history, urban design, architecture, and preservation.

The Development Director will be responsible for generating revenue for the organization by securing grants from grant making organization and donations from individuals or corporations. This is a part-time position that anticipates about 20 hours or work per week. No overnight travel is required. The position may be home-based.

Compensation is $40 per hour ($40,000 annually for half-time). In addition to hourly pay, this position has the potential to earn a bonus based on achievement of goals.

Experience required: Viable candidates will have experience successfully soliciting funds from grant making organizations, corporations, or individuals.
