The Muskegon Museum of Art seeks full-time professional Preparator with proven experience in exhibition design/building, art handling and professional matting and framing. The successful candidate will also be proficient with basic construction principals and have successful experience in working within a museum or fine arts team environment. The position reports to the Senior Curator, serves on the exhibition development team of the Muskegon Museum of Art, and is responsible for the proper care and handling of the fine art collection. A successful candidate will have five years’ experience in a museum, fine arts, or gallery environment, along with related college-level education. Salary range is $45,000 - $52,000 depending on experience with generous benefit package.
