2026 Summer Seasonal Positions - Mackinac State Historic Parks

Mackinac State Historic Parks, which includes Fort Mackinac and Historic Downtown Mackinac on Mackinac Island and Colonial Michilimackinac, Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse and Dousman’s Mill in Mackinaw City, has full-time and part-time summer seasonal positions available for the 2026 season. Positions include military and civilian historic interpreters, grounds/maintenance, archaeological crew, Guest Services Representatives, exhibit technicians and cleaners, marketing and special events internships, Mackinac Art Museum positions and more! Low-cost dormitory housing at approximately $96 a month is available, pay starts at $14.00 to $15.85 per hour, 40 hours/week. There is also an hour worked bonus up to $500.00 at the end of the season. Positions start in early May or early June and work through Labor Day (or later).
