The Michigan Museums Association seeks proposals for half-day workshops to take place during our annual conference. The conference will be October 21-23, 2023 in Kalamazoo. Workshops will be held at various venues in the Kalamazoo area on Monday, October 21 from 9-12 and 1-4 and on Wednesday, October 23 from 9-12 and 1-4.
Half-day workshops are three hours long and focus on a variety of content areas that are relevant for museum professionals and volunteers who come from all sizes and types of museums from throughout Michigan. Workshops are typically held for smaller groups of 20-30 people, but size is flexible according to presenter and space. MMA will provide participant nametags but no other supplies.
Workshop proposals will be reviewed on a first-come first-served basis and will be accepted through Wednesday, April 10.
For more information about the conference, contact the MMA office at 313-334-7342, email lcbrisson@michiganmuseums.org or visit the MMA website.
