The Michigan Museums Association seeks proposals for half-day workshops to take place during our annual conference.  The conference will be October 19-21, 2026 in Oakland County. Workshops will be held at various venues in the Oakland County area on Monday, October 19 from 9a–12p and 1p–4p and on Wednesday, October 21 from 1p–4p.

Half-day workshops are three hours long and focus on a variety of content areas that are relevant for museum professionals and volunteers who come from all sizes and types of museums from throughout Michigan. Workshops are typically held for smaller groups of 20-30 people, but size is flexible according to presenter and space. MMA will provide participant nametags but no other supplies.
