Please join us as we celebrate the Michigan museum community

May 14, 2026
Michigan Science Center
Detroit
6:00 - 8:00 pm

Join us for an inspiring evening celebrating the people, programs, and passion that make Michigan’s museum community thrive. The Michigan Museums Association Annual Awards Event will take place on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at the Michigan Science Center. A cocktail hour and open house will begin at 6:00 pm, followed by the awards presentation program at 7:00.

This special gathering brings together museum professionals, supporters, and advocates from across the state to honor outstanding achievements in the field and to recognize the innovation, leadership, and impact happening in museums of all sizes.

Guests will enjoy an engaging program highlighting this year’s award recipients, opportunities to connect with colleagues and friends, and the chance to experience the dynamic setting of the Michigan Science Center. Together, we will celebrate the vital role museums play in enriching our communities and shaping the future.

Whether you are a longtime member, a museum professional or volunteer, or someone who simply believes in and supports the work of museums, this event is a meaningful opportunity to come together, be inspired, and support the continued growth of Michigan’s museum community.

We hope you will join us for this fun evening.
