Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer for the Michigan Museums Association (MMA). MMA shares expertise and resources to promote standards and practices that make the Michigan museum community thrive. Our volunteers make that possible! All volunteers are expected to be MMA members.

Events Team Overview

Members of the 2021 Events Team will assist staff in planning for and evaluating online and in-person events for 2021. Activities include:

Assisting in conference planning.
Assisting in planning and implementing any online and in-person events that may take place in 2021.

Time Committment

Start Date:

End Date:
Through December 2021. Renewable for 2022.

Commitment Needed:
One to two hours a month, with more possible during the event leadup and hosting.
