Classification: Full Time
Status: Exempt 
Pay Rate: $31-39,000

Basic Purpose
To facilitate the efficient day-to-day administrative operation for the Holland Museum. Support the administrative and data entry for the executive and development and communication departments.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Executive Support
• Provide Administrative support to the executive director and development and communications manager.
• Responsible for data entry of Donor Perfect database, assisting with correspondence, coordinating mass mailings and data entry and other communications as necessary.
• Update the board binder and submit changes directly to the board/update Teams folder as needed.
• Obtain various licenses needed for special events
• Prepare monthly board packet and email to board members.
• Perform other administrative and clerical functions.

Human Resources
• Perform HR duties such as attendance, maintain employee records and update all OSHA postings with the support of the facility director.
• Assist in research and negotiations of health/dental insurance and their renewal processes.

• Assist with marketing efforts including quarterly newsletter, send weekly enewsletter communications and be responsible for crafting and executing social media for Museum.
• Assist in updates to the Museum website.

Office Management
• Maintain office equipment, printers, copiers, back up devices, computers, postage machine and liaise with service technicians.
• Maintain inventory and order office supplies
• Assist with any exhibit openings and special events as needed.

Qualifications Education and Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required. BA/BS in a related field preferred. One to three years’ experience working in customer service or communications.
• Experience in social media, print design, web content editing, fund development and project management preferred.

• Commitment to museum best practices as established by the American Alliance of Museums.
• The ability to perform all essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
•Demonstrated computer proficiency, including an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, /Mac OS, email, the Internet, social media, etc. (Donor Perfect) database software knowledge a plus.
• Ability to work evening events as necessary.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Other duties as requested or assigned.
