We are currently accepting Learning & Engagement Programmatic Intern (spring) applications. This opportunity will provide programmatic support to the Learning & Engagement team for projects pertaining to the Invention Convention U.S. Nationals while providing programmatic support for professional development and other programs. Ideal candidates will have the ability to manage and prioritize a variety of responsibilities with excellent organizational and communication skills. This is a good opportunity for enthusiastic team players who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have interest in nonprofit operations and innovation, invention, and entrepreneurial learning programs.

This is a temporary position that will last seven weeks from the end of April through the second week of June.

Essential Responsibilities

·         Researching the originality of student projects submitted for the Invention Convention U.S. Nationals
·         Select shortlists of said videos for sponsors and partners of Invention Convention U.S. Nationals
·         Provide on-site support for the Invention Convention U.S. Nationals event from June 5th-June 9th.
·         Provide programmatic support for professional development.
·         Participate in the development of educational resources.
·         Schedule and plan meetings take meeting notes, research, write and edit documents, prepare PowerPoint presentations, and complete other administrative duties.
·         Participate in brainstorming sessions, planning meetings, etc. with the Learning & Engagement Team.
·         Assist the Learning & Engagement team with special projects and events as needed.
·         Creates and communicates work plans as needed through regular updates and reports.
·         Shares responsibility for housekeeping tasks related to the storage and office areas
·         Contributes to the effective team management of all problems, issues, and opportunities.
·         Acts as a team player and provides expertise within the team and other teams as appropriate.
·         Other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications

·         Current undergraduate or graduate student
·         Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
·         Experience working in an office setting preferred
