I have been a member of the MMA since 1981, and one of the best values of the organization is the close network of colleagues I have developed over the years. I can call on my friends for virtually any kind of question I have about collections, exhibits, or administrative issues to see how they have handled the same problems in the past, and always receive useful advice in return. I met many of these people at my first few MMA annual meetings, where the acquaintances made became friendships for life.

Scott M. Peters, Collections Historian, Michigan Historical Museum, Lansing

The MMA has been among my most rewarding professional affiliations. It has provided me a wonderful network of dedicated colleagues who have enriched my professional life. The annual meeting and many programs and services make it a great investment on both a personal and institutional level.

C. Kurt Dewhurst, Director, Michigan State University Museum, East Lansing
