Social media is a powerful tool for museums and has provided new opportunities and become even more important during the pandemic. At the same time, it can also be a challenge to contain and find focus for social media efforts. Bring your questions and hear about developing a social media strategy and planning content with a social media expert. 

Marissa Conniff is the Founder of Upward Anthems, LLC a social media and marketing company for artists and entrepreneurs. While studying Arts Management at Eastern Michigan University, her career began as a marketing intern at MASS MoCA and then the Marketing Director of Performance Network Theatre in Ann Arbor. Since then, Marissa has worked within the tourism and technology industries, while maintaining her passion as a singer and starting a family. Upward Anthems was founded in March of 2020, days before the COVID-19 pandemic shutdowns began. Marissa has found a heightened interest in social media from marketers and business owners as they grapple to find ways to engage their audiences virtually.
