Implementing Diversity
in the Organization:
Strategies to Advance the Work

Wednesday, December 15, 10:00 am

Culturally Competent and Inclusive organizations yield effective results. This interactive session will provide participants with an opportunity to reflect and discuss current topics on diversity and inclusion and ultimately lead to the development of strategies for building and leading effective, culturally competent teams. Led by Nonprofit Network.

2021 MMA Leadership Series

Thriving Museums require strong leaders, and MMA is committed to helping build the community of leaders for Michigan’s museums. This year-long leadership series uses monthly online programs to help build skills and increase knowledge for participants. Program content will alternate between developing who you uniquely are as a leader and understanding diversity, inclusion and equity, both of which are required for successful leadership.

The program is appropriate for all levels and roles in an organization, not just those with direct reports or who are in leadership positions currently. The series is geared toward the museum community, but others are welcome as well.

Registration

Members (login required) $40
Non-members    $80

Registration is also available for the entire series.

If you have been laid off or furloughed from a Michigan museum, please consider joining with the free temporary COVID-19 membership
