2022 Annual Conference

Join your state-wide colleagues on Mackinac Island for the 2022 MMA Annual Conference at the Grand Hotel! Help MMA celebrate our 50th Anniversary by returning to the site of our first conference in 1971.

Anticipated Costs and Limited Time Deals

We are working hard to find ways to keep the conference as affordable and accessible as possible. Please use this list as a starting point for budgeting for the 2022 MMA Annual Conference and more logistical details will follow this winter. 

  • Ferry tickets are approximately $27 round-trip for an adult, based on 2021 rates. We are working to get a reduced rate for the conference. 
  • Depending on the ferry company and location, parking can be up to $10 per night. 
  • The base room rate at the Grand Hotel, not including taxes and fees, is $200 per room, per night. With taxes and all fees (including for luggage), this works out to be about $130 per person, per night based on double occupancy. Room upgrades and breakfast add-ons are also available. This room rate is available 10/7/2022 to 10/15/2022.
  • Registration cost for the conference will be available soon but again, will be kept as low as possible and in line with previous conferences.
