MMA Seeks Proposals for 2017 Professional Development Workshops

The Michigan Museums Association hosts professional development workshops throughout the state focusing on developing skills and meeting best practice related to collections stewardship, museum visitor experiences, and museum leadership and administration.  In 2017, content providers are sought for five workshops focusing on a variety of topics to be held throughout the state.

Workshops are typically a full-day (up to 6 hours, including lunch and breaks) or a half-day (up to four hours not including lunch but including a break) and take place at member institutions that serve as hosts.   We generally ask host institutions to provide space for up to 25 people, access to a projector and ideally, wired or wireless capacity in the room.  Please indicate any technology requirements in your proposal.

We offer our workshops throughout the state and consider carefully which regions need which programs.  Please clearly articulate any geographic restraints you have in the proposal.
