Administrative Assistant 

The Michigan Maritime Museum is currently inviting applications for an Administrative Assistant. The duties of this position would include a combination of administrative support for the Capital Campaign, providing back up assistance for daily Museum operations, and working alongside Capital Campaign committees. 

Strong organizational skills, a capacity for effective communication, good letter writing abilities, and a familiarity with everyday office tasks are required. This position is part-time with flexible hours.

Ship's Store Associates

Looking for a fun and exciting summer job in beautiful South Haven? The Michigan Maritime Museum is looking for enthusiastic, friendly, and go-getting individuals to work at the front desk and in the Ship's Store gift shop. 

The position includes several responsibilities such as ringing up merchandise, checking in passengers for sails and cruises, and relaying museum admission to visitors. Never a dull moment! This part-time seasonal position would be 20 to 30 hours per week and would require a willingness to work on weekends and holidays.

Friends Good Will Crew

Calling all deckhands! The Michigan Maritime Museum is currently inviting applications for Staff Crew positions aboard our tall ship Friends Good Will. Duties are but not limited to: sailing aboard Friends Good Will for education sails, public day sails, and private charters along with vessel maintenance, deck tours and historical interpretation. Strong guest service skills are desired.

Compensation is dependent on experience. Membership in a UCSG approved random drug testing program is required. Willingness to work weekends and holidays. This is not a live aboard position. Seasonal position runs May through September.
