Education Coordinator - Jim Crow Museum/Ferris State University (9/20/2019)

Compensation: $50,000/yr

The Education Coordinator will direct educational programming for the Jim Crow Museum in cooperation and collaboration with educational and community leaders. These efforts include supporting local educators and educators across the United States who are using Museum resources for educational experiences. The Coordinator will also help create educational materials that draw upon the primary sources contained within the Jim Crow Museum's collection. In doing so, the impact of the Museum’s collection will be expanded to teach tolerance and promote a more just society. This is a three year IMLS grant funded position, with the possibility for renewal

Required: Bachelor’s degree. At least 2 years working in the education field (University, college, high school or museum) in a capacity writing curriculum and lesson plans. Read the full description at the address below.
